Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed SSC or Intermediate (10+2) from any recognized board for both ASI and HC. Short hand speed for ASI is Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi for 1O minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in SO minutes on computer OR dictation in Hindi in 65 minutes on computer. Short hand speed for HC is Typing p 35 words per minute in English OR @ 30 words per minute in Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer. Time-10 minutes.
Age Limit: Candidate should be in between 18 to 25 years old. ASI(Steno) & HC(Min) shall be 01-08-2015 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 01-August-2015 and not later than 01-August-1997.
Application Fee: Others category candidates should pay Rs 50/- and there is no fee for the SC/ST/Ex.Servicemen/Women
- For ASI(Steno): Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2800/- in Band-1
- For HC(Min): Rs 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs 2400/- in Band-1
Selection Process:The selection shall be held in two phases.
- Written Examination
Second phase physical Measurement (pST):
- Short Hand Test (only for Ast/Steno)
- Typing Speed Test (onlv for HC/Mini)
- Documentation (Checking of Documents)
- Medical Examination
Examination Pattern: Written exam contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions each question carries one mark and duration of the exam is One Hour and Forty Minutes. Exam will be in both English and Hindi. Qualifying marks for General is 35% and for SC/ST is 33%.
