EAMCET Entrance Exam for Engineering & Pharmacy Courses


Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is the examination for seeking the B.Tech admission in to the engineering and B.Pharmacy, MBBS admissions in to medical colleges for doing different courses in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Eamcet is conducted every year in the month of May for Intermediate M.P.C and Bi.P.C students. EAMCET score is calculated based on the weightage of both EAMCET marks and Intermediate marks (ICSE, CBSE).


  • Candidate belongs to either Andhra Pradesh or Telangana
  • Candidate must have the Intermediate (10+2) in the relevant discipline M.P.C & Bi.P.C and diploma conducted by the AP or TS.
Question paper is all of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for 160 marks with 40 marks for each subject (Maths A/Botany, Maths B/Zoology, Physics and Chemistry). Physics and Chemistry question papers are different for Engineering and Agriculture and Medical categories though the syllabus is the same.. Each question carries one mark. And there no negative marking.

  • Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) – Doctor of Pharmacy (Bi.P.C)
