Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is the qualifying examination for seeking the admission for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses offered by various universities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. ICET is conducted every year in the month of May for all branches of degree candidates.
- Candidates should have the Bachelor Degree or any equivalent qualification from the recognized university for MBA admission.
- Candidates should have the Bachelor Degree or any equivalent qualification with Maths at Intermediate from the recognized university for MCA admission.
- Candidates who are in the final year of degree examination shall eligible to apply for the ICET. If they pass the examination, attend the counselling for the admission.
The exam consist of 200 questions from three sections as listed below. Each question carries one mark. Total Duration of the exam is 150 minutes. Total marks of the exam is 200 marks.
Section A : Analytical Ability(75 Questions)
(i) Data Sufficiency – 20 Questions
(ii) Problem Solving – 55 Questions
Section B: Mathematical Ability(75 Questions)
(i) Arithmetical Ability – 35 Questions
(ii) Algebraical and Geometrical Ability – 30 Questions
(iii) Statistical Ability – 10 Questions
Section C: Communication Ability(50 Questions)
(i) Vocabulary – 10 Questions
(ii) Business and Computer Terminology – 10 Questions
(iii) Functional Grammar – 15 Questions
(iv) Reading Comprehension – 15 Questions
