Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET) is the exam conducted every year in the month of May/June. Many candidates are appear for the PECET exam to take Bachelor in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) and Under Graduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D.P.Ed) Courses Admission for two years offered by the universities and affiliated colleges over the state.
Courses offered through PECET:
- B.P.Ed (2 years)
- U.G.D.P.Ed(2 years)
a) Candidates should have appeared or passed three year degree examination recognized by any university or any other university recognized.
b) Candidates should have completed 19 years as or on the date of admission in to B.P.Ed.
a) Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized Board.
b) Candidates should have completed 16 years of age on the date of admission in to U.G.D.P.Ed.
PECET exam consists of a) Physical Efficiency Test and b) Skill Test in Game. Physical Efficiency Test is for 400 marks and Skill Test in Game is for 100 marks. So the total exam is for 500 marks. Check more about AP PECET syllabus and TS PECET syllabus.
After completing the B.P.Ed and U.G.D.P.Ed courses candidates will settled as a Physical Education Teacher (P.E.T) by attending the recruitment process which is conducted by the government.
