biharUPSC CDS-II 2015 Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
UPSC conducts Combined Defence Services(CDS-II) Examination two times in a year. Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) CDS-II EXam will be held on 1st November 2015. Commission received many online applications up to 14th August 2015. The syllabus and Pattern of CDS-II Examination is clearly mentioned for the candidates to to secure good merit in written Examination to secure good merit in order to to select in Combined defense Services.

Scheme of the Examination: The competitive Examination comprise of Written Examination and Interview for intelligence and personality Test.
Written Examination: The written exam is objective type only. General Knowledge, Elementary Mathematics section questions will be in Hindi and English Language.
(i) For Indian Military Academy(IMA), Indian Naval Academy(INA) & Air Force Academy(AFC)
1. English – 2 hours – 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge – 2 hours – 100 Marks
3. Elementary Mathematics – 2 hours – 100 Marks
(ii) For Officers Training Academy(OTA)
1. English – 2 hours – 100 Marks
2. General Knowledge – 2 hours – 100 Marks

Intelligence and personality Test: The SSB procedure consists of two stage Selection process-stage I and stage-II. The candidates who clear the stage I are permitted to appear for stage II.
(a) Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception Description Test (PP & DT). The candidates will be Shortlisted based on combination of performance in QIR Test and PP and DT.
(b) Stage II Comprises of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference. These tests are conducted over 4 days.

English Syllabus: The question paper is designed to test your understanding of English and workmanlike use of words. Questions in English are from Synonyms, Antonyms, Reading Comprehension, Para Jumbles, Error Spotting, Jumbled Sentences, Sentence Correction and Fill in the Blanks.

General Knowledge Syllabus:General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The paper also includes questions on History of India and Geography of a nature.

Mathematics Syllabus: Elementary Mathematics syllabus will be of Matriculation Level. Questions will be from Arithmetic, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Mensuration, Statistics.
