CEED Syllabus and Exam Pattern for Master in Design Course: CEED entrance test exam pattern and syllabus for the Bachelor degree students who are planning to do Masters in design course. CEED Exam Pattern: Question paper will be in English Language. Paper consists of Part-A and Part-B. Duration of the CEED exam is for 3 hours.
Part A : Part A is computer based test and it contains three sections,Section I, Section II and Section III.Part A consist of 50 Questions for 100 marks with time duration of One Hour.
Section I: Section I consist of 5 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions of total 10 Marks. Negative Marking is there in this section. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks and each wrong answer will awarded -0.6 marks.
Section II: Section II consist of 10 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) of total 20 Marks. The candidate gets 2 marks only if he/she selects all the correct answers. There is NO NEGATIVE or PARTIAL marking for this section
Section III: Section III consist of 35 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) of total 70 Marks. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks and each wrong answer will be rewarded -0.6 marks.
Part B: Part B paper is pen and paper based exam and it consist of total 5 Questions of 50 marks. Duration of Part B exam is for Two Hours. And it is conducted to assess candidates design and hand drawing capabilities.
CEED Exam 2016 Syllabus: Syllabus of CEED consists of 3 parts Part A, Part B,Part c. And topics in 3 parts are given below.
Part A – General awareness, Mathematical and symbolic Aptitude, Basic Design ability and Observation and Visualization.
Part B – Mandatory section:
1. Sketching – Free hand drawing
2. Creativity and Imagination– Candidates may have to give a description of a given illustration in 250 words
3. Innovative thinking
Part B – Optional section:
1. Visual Communication and Interaction
2. Optional Animation Design
3. Optional Product Design
