Rajasthan Postman Mail Guard Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2015:
Rajasthan Postman Mail Guard Exam Pattern and syllabus for the candidates who have applied and preparing for the written examination. Many applications are received by the postal department. Examination date not yet decided by the Postal department. Depending up on the number of eligible applications date of the examination will be decided soon. Many candidates applied through online mode from 24th July to 24th August 2015.

Exam Pattern: The Aptitude Test of 100 marks will be conducted. Total duration of the Aptitude Test will be 2 hours(120 minutes).
Part-A : 25 Marks
General Knowledge – 25 Questions
Part-B : 25 Marks
Mathematics – 25 Questions
Part-C: 50 Marks
(i) English Language –  25 Questions -25 Marks
(ii) Regional Language(Hindi) –  25 Questions -25 Marks

Exam Syllabus of Postman/Mailguard (PMMG) Exam:
General Knowledge – Geography, Indian History, Freedom Struggle, Culture & Sports, General Polity & Constitution of India, Economics, General Science, Current Affairs and Reasoning & Analytical ability of 10th standard.

Mathematics – Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals & Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Use of Tables & Graphs, Mensuration.

English Language – Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms & Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence Structure, Proverbs, Phrases, Questions from small unseen passage.

Regional Language(Hindi) – Synonyms & Antonyms, Grammer(Swar-sandhi, Alankaar,Samas), Fill in the blanks with suitable word, Correcting the sentence

Minimum Qualifying Marks:  The minimum Qualifying Marks to be obtained in each part of Aptitude Test by the candidates belongs to different categories mentioned below.

Category Minimum Qualifying Marks
UR 10 marks in each part & 40 in aggregate
SC/ST 8 marks in each part & 33 in aggregate
OBC 9 marks in each part & 37 in aggregate

Selection Process: Selection of the candidates is purely based on their performance in the Aptitude Test. Merit list will be prepared in respect of all categories after the examination.
